Change your Canva password
You can change your Canva password from Settings. If you don't remember your current password, see Reset your Canva password

Change your password now from Settings.
Change Canva password
- Open the account menu and select Your account.
- In the side menu, select the Account & security tab.
- Next to Password, select Update.
- In Confirm your existing password, enter your current password and select Confirm Password.
- In Change password, enter your new password under New password. Use 8 or more characters with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols. Learn more about protecting your account.
- Enter it again under Confirm new password.
- Select Save.
A password change confirmation will be sent to your account email.
For an extra layer of security and a quicker way to log in, set up a passkey. On the Account and security page, under Passkey, select Add.
FAQs
I forgot my current password
You can still log in to Canva with a code sent to your email. To set a new password, select Forgot password? in the Confirm your existing password window, or see Reset your Canva password.
I can't change my password
If your Canva account is managed by an organisation, your admin may control your password settings. Check with your organisation's admin or see Affiliated and managed accounts for more information.
